This past Sunday Robert worshiped in the village of Mvuha. Pastor Dunia from Morogoro and 2 members of the Morogoro Mji Mpya Church accompanied him. Members of the larger churches in Morogoro love to give support and encouragement to the village churches. Mvuha congregant, 16 year old Shukrani, was confirmed by Pastor Dunia and the Mvuha congregation.
Evangelist Baptista Ng'assi serves the church in the village of Mvuha. He graduated from 2 year Bible school in 2004. He and his wife have 5 children; four boys and the youngest, a girl, Merriam (pictured above with Robert).
Baptista and his family farm in order to supplement his small income. They are using the Foundations for Farming method and realizing increased yields in their maize (corn) harvest.
They are also a part of the Norwegian milk goat project. Per project guidelines, they gave the first female offspring to a neighbor. They currently have 3 females. They use the milk at home to supplement their diet and sell some as well.

Baptista has been very faithful to his work. We hope to be able to send him to pastor's school next year.
